Vitamin E is a generic term and most people are referring to Alpha-tocopherol. In reality, Vitamin E exists in foods in 8 forms: tocopherols and tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta)1.

Recent studies looking at mixed tocopherols for the prevention of cardiovascular disease have indicated that mixed tocopherols may have a stronger inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation than alpha-tocopherol alone2,3.

Tocotrienols have come recently to the attention of medical world4,5 . For example, tocotrienol but not tocopherol, suppresses growth of human breast cancer cells6,7.

Therefore, it is advantageous to supplement with Konig Laboratorium Vitamin E8, a complete formula comprising a complete mixture of tocopherols and tocotrienols.

Beta Caroten (pro-vitamin A) is a source of retinol, an antioxidant that acts synergistically with Vitamin E 8.
